Meet Dr. Henry Truong

Dr. Truong grew up in Houston and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Houston. He went on to complete his DMD degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Truong’s exceptional score on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), the entrance exam for dental school, enabled him to teach DAT prep courses for prospective dental students in both Houston and South Florida.

After returning to Houston and practicing dentistry for several years, Dr. Truong decided to make Austin his permanent home. He is proud to have the opportunity to design his own practice around his unique and patient-focused philosophy, and he’s taken great care to create a space that maximizes his patients’ experience. From the accurate and efficient CEREC^® system to safe and speedy digital X-rays, Dr. Truong has equipped his practice with advanced technology geared toward changing the way people think about going to the dentist.

Dr. Truong is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a title held by less than 10% of general dentists. Dr. Truong gives back to his community by volunteering with Texas Mission of Mercy, an organization dedicated to providing dental care to underserved families and individuals in Texas.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Truong enjoys spending time with his two beautiful daughters and two fun-loving bulldogs. He’s also passionate about fitness and likes challenging himself with endurance events like marathons, half-marathons and the Tough Mudder, a 10-mile obstacle race.
